Associate Analyst
Hashim Arsiwala is an Associate Analyst at Capoeira Partners where he works closely with the team on enhancing clients’ operational, strategic and risk management frameworks.
Hashim started his career in 2016 as a Fixed Income Analyst and Trader on the Investment team of an Indian life insurer, Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance. In 2020, he joined Zuno General Insurance, where he played a key role in establishing Zuno’s investment desk, designing both investment processes and operational infrastructure. At Zuno, he was Deputy Manager of Investments of a $130 million multi-asset portfolio, leveraging macro and quantitative insights to optimize portfolio construction and risk management.
Hashim earned his MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2019, where he graduated with distinction and was awarded the Antoinne Faure-Grimaud Scholarship for academic excellence. He holds a BA in Economics from Mumbai University and is a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) charterholder. He is currently pursuing the CFA Level II exam. Hashim lives in downtown Toronto with his wife. Outside of work, he passionate about exploring the culinary arts, experimenting with new recipes and techniques, and discovering hidden food gems.
